Directed and produced one of the acts in an annual cross-cultural showcase for 3000 audience representing Indonesia. The act ventures through Indonesia’s history as we progress from fragmented islands and separated kingdoms to unite as one nation, through traditional dance, music, and other virtual art. Throughout the act, we will use a metaphorical figure called ibu pertiwi (mother land) which represents our nation. Our act will boast traditional dances from the five main islands of Indonesia with a theme of nature, as our country is known for its natural beauty. We will show how Indonesia is beyond its diversity.
